Mevlana Palace is a historic building located in Konya city of Turkey. It was built in the 19th century during the Ottoman period, and served as a residence for the governor of Konya. The palace was later converted into a museum and is now known as the Mevlana Museum.
The Mevlana Museum is dedicated to the life and teachings of the famous 13th-century Sufi poet and philosopher, Mevlana Rumi. The museum contains a mausoleum where Mevlana Rumi's tomb is located, along with those of his family members and some of his followers.
The palace also includes a library, a mosque, and various exhibition rooms displaying artifacts from Mevlana Rumi's life, such as his personal belongings, manuscripts, and calligraphy. The surrounding gardens are also a popular place for visitors to relax, enjoy the scenery, and learn about Mevlana's teachings.
Mevlana Palace and Museum are considered important landmarks in Konya and attract thousands of visitors every year, both locally and from around the world.
